This part of GB 30865 specifies the design, technical requirements, test methods, marking, and information to be provided by manufacturers for metal chainmail gloves and arm guards.
This part applies to metal chainmail gloves and metal or plastic arm guards worn for work involving the use of handheld knives.
This part does not apply to protective gloves used in environments such as those involving high-speed rotating knives, stamping operations, mixing operations, or live electrical work.
