This document describes the laboratory test methods for evaluating the performance of car tires, including the test equipment and its accuracy, test conditions, test procedures, determination rules, and test reports.
This document includes tire demounting resistance tests, strength performance tests, high-speed performance tests, durability performance tests, and low-pressure performance tests. Among the proposed test methods, only the application of certain test methods needs to be determined based on the type of the tire being tested (whether it is a pneumatic tire with an inner tube or without an inner tube, a bias-ply tire or a radial tire, etc.).
The test methods listed in this document are not suitable for grading the performance or quality level of tire products.
This document is applicable to new car pneumatic tires and refurbished car pneumatic tires. For other tires, with the consent of relevant parties, the tests can be conducted in accordance with this document.
