Abstract
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the planning and design of pipeline water conveyance and irrigation projects, pipe materials and fittings, auxiliary equipment and auxiliary buildings, pump selection and power unit matching, pipeline construction and equipment installation, project quality inspection and evaluation, project acceptance, project operation and maintenance, benefit analysis, and economic evaluation.
This standard applies to the construction and management of new, expanded, and renovated pipeline water conveyance and irrigation projects.
