Abstract
This standard specifies the classification levels, testing devices, and testing methods for evaluating the smoke toxicity hazard of materials. This standard applies to the classification of smoke toxicity hazards of materials that consistently produce smoke, but it does not apply to the classification of smoke toxicity hazards of materials that do not consistently produce smoke.
