This part of DZ/T 0275 specifies the steps, methods, and quality requirements for the preparation of rock thin sections.
This part is applicable to the preparation of rock thin sections for observation under a polarizing microscope. It is not applicable to the preparation of specimens such as fossils, mineral inclusions, salt rocks, coal rocks, and certain clay rocks.
