GB 15083-2006

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, and test methods for automotive seats, seat fixing devices, and headrests. This standard applies to the seats and their fixing devices (whether the seats have headrests or not) of M1 and N-class automobiles in GB/T 15089-2001, as well as the isolation devices used in M1-class vehicles to prevent luggage from moving and injuring passengers. This standard also applies to other M2-class and M3-class automotive seats not covered by GB 13057-2003. This standard does not apply to folding seats, side-facing seats, or rear-facing seats.
