GB/T 225-2006 Steel—Hardenability test by end quenching (Jominy test)
Abstract
This standard specifies the use of the end quenching test method (Jominy test) to determine the quenchability of steel. For the test, a specimen with a diameter of 25 mm and a length of 100 mm is used. Note: Through consultation, for the application scope of a certain regulation, an approved mathematical model (see Appendix C) can be used to calculate the Jominy curve instead of the end quenching test described in this standard. If there are any disputes about the results, the end quenching test should be conducted.
