Abstract
This document specifies the safety requirements for lighting fixtures used in swimming pools and similar venues.
This document applies to fixed lighting fixtures used in or in contact with water, such as those in swimming pools, fountains, rowing pools, and garden ponds.
Note: The electrical installation specifications for swimming pools are specified in IEC 60364-7-702.
This document does not apply to lighting fixtures that are not in contact with water (for example, those installed behind a glass panel separate from the lighting fixture) or portable lighting fixtures.
