GB/T 19879-2015

This standard specifies the methods of designating steel plates for building structures, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel plates (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates") with thicknesses of 6 mm to 200 mm for high-rise building structures, large-span structures, and other important building structures, including Q345GJ with a thickness of 6 mm to 150 mm, Q235GJ, Q390GJ, Q420GJ, and Q460GJ, as well as Q500GJ, Q550GJ, Q620GJ, and Q690GJ with a thickness of 12 mm to 40 mm. Hot-rolled steel strips may also be implemented in accordance with this standard.
