Abstract
This document specifies the classification of manganese-silicon alloys, the method of indicating grades, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, storage and transportation, marking, and quality certificates. This document is applicable to manganese-silicon alloys used as alloying agents, composite deoxidizers, and desulfurizers in steelmaking, as well as reducing agents in the smelting of medium-carbon manganese iron, low-carbon manganese iron, and micro-carbon manganese iron.
