GB/T 24477-2009 Accessibility to lifts for persons including persons with disability
Abstract
This standard specifies the minimum requirements for the safe and independent access and use of elevators by people with disabilities, including those listed in Table B.1 of Appendix B. The elevators to which the standard applies meet the minimum car size requirements of Table 1 and are equipped with power-driven automatic horizontal sliding car doors and landing doors. This standard takes into account the accessibility of elevators to wheelchair users whose dimensions comply with those specified in GB/T 13800-1992 and GB 12996-1991. This standard stipulates additional technical requirements to reduce the potential hazards that people with disabilities may face when using elevators, as described in Chapter 4.
