Abstract
This document describes the methods for determining the content of lead, cadmium, chromium, and mercury heavy metals in the surface materials and finish layers of wood-based panels using instruments such as inductively coupled plasma (ICP) plasma emission spectrometers, atomic absorption spectrometers, and atomic fluorescence spectrometers. This document is applicable to the determination of the content of heavy metals in the surface materials and finish layers of wood-based panels.
