The chapter of GB/T 4706.1-2024 is replaced by the following content: This document specifies the safety requirements for heat pumps, air conditioners, and dehumidifiers for household and similar use. This document applies to single-phase appliances with a maximum rated voltage not exceeding 300 V, and other appliances with a maximum rated voltage not exceeding 600 V. It applies to heat pumps equipped with electric motor compressors and circulating fan coil units, domestic hot water heat pumps and air conditioners, dehumidifiers (with or without electric motor compressors), thermoelectric heat pumps, and some units. Appliances that are not intended for general household use but may still pose a danger to the public, such as those used by non-professionals in shops, light industry, and farms, are also within the scope of this document. The aforementioned appliances may be composed of components manufactured by one or more factories. If multiple components are provided and these individual components are intended to be used together, the technical requirements of this document are based on the use of the assembled components.
