This standard specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of aluminum silicate wool and its products used for thermal insulation. This standard applies to aluminum silicate wool, aluminum silicate wool boards, aluminum silicate wool felts, aluminum silicate wool needle-punched blankets, aluminum silicate wool paper, aluminum silicate wool pipe shells, aluminum silicate wool special-shaped products, and aluminum silicate wool assemblies used for high-temperature thermal insulation in industrial thermal equipment, kilns, and pipelines.
