Abstract
This document describes the sampling method for ramie fibers and the testing methods for their physical and chemical properties, including moisture regain and moisture content, whiteness, length, linear density, single fiber breaking strength, single fiber breaking elongation, bundle fiber breaking strength, quantitative analysis of chemical components, ash content, cellulose polymerization degree, gum content in raw ramie, and residual gum content in refined ramie.
This document is applicable to the testing of the physical and chemical properties of ramie fibers, including raw ramie, refined ramie, combed ramie, ramie bales, and fallen ramie.
