Abstract
This document is applicable to range hoods and other cooking fume extraction and exhaust devices (including their accessories and parts) used for filtering indoor fumes or discharging fumes to the outdoors in household and similar applications. This document is also applicable to cooking fume extraction and exhaust devices equipped with external fans (which can be installed indoors or outdoors where the range hood is located), as well as under-mounted systems installed on the side, rear, or bottom of the cooking surface.
