GB/T 6730.68-2009 Iron ores—Determination of loss on ignition—Gravimetric method
Abstract
This part of GB/T 6730 specifies the determination of the loss on ignition (LOI) in iron ore by the weight method.
This part is applicable to the determination of the loss on ignition in natural iron ore, iron concentrate, and sintered ore. The determination range (mass fraction): -10.0% to 12.0%.
This part is not applicable to processed ores containing metallic iron, or natural or processed ores with a sulfur content greater than 0.2% (mass fraction).
