GB/T 14174-2012 Large caliber liquid nitrogen container
Abstract
1.1 This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, storage and transportation requirements for large-diameter liquid nitrogen containers made of austenitic stainless steel (hereinafter referred to as "containers").
1.2 This standard applies to containers for storing liquid nitrogen under normal pressure, with an effective volume not exceeding 1,830 L and a diameter not less than 315 mm, which adopt high-vacuum multi-layer insulation.
1.3 This standard does not apply to containers used in the following scenarios:
——Storing liquid nitrogen under pressure;
——Storing liquid oxygen and other cryogenic liquids.
