GB/T 18029.14-2012 Wheelchairs—Part 14:Power and control systems for electrically powered wheelchairs and scooter—Requirements and test methods
Abstract
This part of GB/T 18029 specifies the requirements for the power and control systems of electric wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters, as well as the related test methods. The safety and performance requirements specified in this part apply to normal use, as well as improper operation and malfunctions. This part also stipulates the measurement methods for the force required to operate the controller and the range of forces required for certain operations.
This part of GB/T 18029 applies to electric wheelchairs and electric mobility scooters with a maximum speed of not more than 15 km/h, which are used indoors, outdoors, and on roads, and are limited to one disabled person riding in them within the user weight range specified in GB/T 18029.11.
