YY/T 0755-2009 Anaesthetic vaporizers—Agent-specific filling systems
Abstract
This standard specifies the dimensions of the anesthetic-specific filling system for anesthetic-specific evaporators.
This standard does not specify the structural materials, but the following factors should be considered when selecting materials for the parts of the filling system that come into contact with liquid anesthetics:
a) toxicity;
b) compatibility with anesthetics;
c) minimal health hazards from substances leached from the materials.
Due to the unique properties of desflurane, this standard does not specify the dimensions of the filling system for this anesthetic.
Note: The design of a dedicated anesthetic bottle connector and an anesthetic bottle connection system with a bottle neck ring is encouraged.
