This document specifies the selection and installation of power supply systems for safety facilities, as well as the general requirements for the power supply of safety facilities.
This document is not applicable to backup power supply systems. This document is also not applicable to devices in hazardous locations (BE3), the requirements for which are specified in IEC 60079-14.
