Abstract
This part of GB/T 778 specifies the test requirements for complete water meters and water meter measurement sensors (including flow or volume detection elements) and calculators (including indicating devices) as independent units.
This part is applicable to the type evaluation tests and initial verification tests of drinking cold water meters and hot water meters defined in GB/T 778.1.
This part provides detailed test procedures, test principles, test equipment, and test methods for water meter type evaluation tests and initial verification tests.
If required by national regulations, this part is also applicable to auxiliary devices.
