GB/T 3836.31-2021 Explosive atmospheres—Part 31:Equipment dust ignition protection by enclosure “t”
Abstract
This document specifies the design, structure, and testing requirements for Ex equipment and Ex components protected by the "t" enclosure against dust ignition.
This document applies to electrical equipment protected by enclosures and limited in surface temperature in explosive dust environments.
This document does not apply to explosive dust of pyrotechnic materials that do not require oxygen in the atmosphere to burn, or to self-igniting substances.
This document does not apply to Ex equipment or Ex components used in underground coal mines and surface coal mine installations where methane and/or combustible coal dust pose a danger.
This document does not consider the hazards caused by flammable or toxic gases emitted from dust.
This document supplements and amends the general requirements of GB/T 3836.1. When the requirements of this document conflict with those of GB/T 3836.1, the requirements of this document shall take precedence.
