Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, forms and basic parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection conditions, inspection methods, marking and packaging of vernier calipers, dial calipers, and digital display calipers. This standard applies to vernier calipers, dial calipers, and digital display calipers (hereinafter referred to as "calipers") with a graduation/resolution of 0.01 mm, 0.02 mm, 0.05 mm, and 0.10 mm, and a measuring range of (0～70) mm to (0～4 000) mm.
