Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, and storage of marine electric welding anchor chains and their accessories (hereinafter referred to as anchor chains and accessories). This standard applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of serrated and non-serrated anchor chains and accessories used on all types of ships.
