Abstract
This part specifies the terms and definitions, classification, brand names, order content, dimensions, shape, weight and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates for hot-rolled round steel bars used in reinforced concrete.
This part applies to hot-rolled straight bars and coiled round steel bars used in reinforced concrete.
This part does not apply to recycled steel bars that are rolled again from finished steel products.
