Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structural forms, product models, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage and transportation of double check valve backflow preventers.
This standard applies to the production, inspection, and use of double check valve backflow preventers for conveying clean water with a nominal pressure not exceeding 1.6 MPa and a temperature of 1 °C to 65 °C, used on pipes with nominal sizes of DN15 to DN400.
