This document specifies the principles, test equipment, samples, test procedures, and test reports for the fatigue testing of steel wire ropes.
This document is applicable to the fatigue performance testing of steel wire ropes and steel wire rope rigging products, including the bending fatigue test of steel wire ropes, the axial tensile fatigue test of steel wire ropes (rigging), and the combined bending and tensile fatigue test of steel wire rope rigging.
