This document specifies the performance testing of compressor-driven refrigeration systems (hereinafter referred to as refrigeration systems), which operate according to the principle of vapor compression and consist of the loops of compression, condensation, throttling, and evaporation, as well as the connecting pipes and any necessary auxiliary equipment required for the entire refrigeration loop.
This document is applicable to testing conducted either in or outside laboratories, as well as to the testing of refrigeration systems under agreed operating conditions in the absence of specific test standards.
This document is not applicable to the testing of other refrigeration systems (such as absorption or steam injection refrigeration systems), nor to the testing of refrigeration systems intended for specific applications such as household refrigerators, commercial refrigeration and display cabinets, air conditioners, etc.
