GB/T 14728.2-2024 Assistive products for walking manipulated by both arms—Requirements and test methods—Part 2:Rollators
Abstract
This document defines the terms and definitions of wheeled walkers, stipulates the general requirements and test methods for wheeled walkers without attachments (unless specified in special test procedures), materials, liquid ingress, temperature of parts in contact with the human body, safety of moving parts, prevention of body parts from being trapped, folding, adjustment and locking devices, carrying handles, surfaces, corners and edges, static stability, static load strength, durability testing, packaging, and establishes ergonomic principles. It also provides information provided by manufacturers and describes test conditions.
This document applies to wheeled walkers used by users weighing no less than 35 kg for daily use with two-arm operation.
This document does not apply to wheeled walkers with forearm horizontal support, i.e., the desktop walkers specified in ISO 11199-3.
