This dedicated standard specifies the safety requirements for electrical equipment (hereinafter referred to as the equipment) used to treat the human body by utilizing the energy (thermal effect) emitted by radiators heated to a certain temperature.
This standard does not apply to infrared therapy equipment specified in YY 0323.
