This document specifies the general requirements for wipes, the special requirements for adult wipes, pet wipes, and object wipes, as well as inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage. It defines terms and definitions, provides product classification, and describes corresponding testing methods.
This document applies to wipes used in daily life.
Note 1: The requirements for wipes include general requirements and special requirements. The special requirements for adult wipes, pet wipes, and object wipes are specified in this document. The special requirements for baby wipes and disinfectant wipes are specified in GB/T 27728.2 and GB/T 27728.3, respectively.
Note 2: The special requirements for adult wipes and object wipes in this document do not apply to disinfectant wipes. This document does not apply to the production, inspection, and sales of various wipes made from nonwoven fabrics, dust-free paper, or other raw materials.
