This document specifies the materials, design, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of thermoplastic diaphragm valves (hereinafter referred to as "diaphragm valves"), and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to the manufacture and inspection of diaphragm valves with a nominal outer diameter (DN) of 16 mm to 280 mm, a nominal pressure (PN) of 0.6 MPa to 1.6 MPa, and an operating temperature of -40°C to 120°C.
This document applies to manual or power-driven diaphragm valves used in industrial water supply pipelines, water treatment pipelines, and drinking water pipelines, among other systems.
Note 1: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to select this product appropriately based on the transported medium, pressure, temperature, or specific application requirements, in accordance with relevant laws, standards, or regulatory requirements.
Note 2: When transporting non-water media, the impact of chemical media on diaphragm valves is described in ISO/TR 10358.
