This standard is applicable to the identification of germplasm from seedlings, tissue-cloned seedlings, fresh stems, and dried stems of species such as Dendrobium catenatum Lindley, Dendrobium officinale Kimura & Migo, Dendrobium nobile Lindley, Dendrobium chrysotoxum Lindley, Dendrobium fimbriatum Hook., Dendrobium devonianum Paxton, Dendrobium aphyllum (Roxb.) C. Fischer, Dendrobium denneanum Kerr, Dendrobium loddigesii Rolfe, and Dendrobium huoshanense C. Z. Tang & S. J. Cheng.
