GB/T 27741-2018 Paper and board—Determination of migratable fluorescent whitening agents
Abstract
This standard specifies the qualitative and quantitative determination methods for migratable fluorescent whitening agents in paper and paperboard. The qualitative analysis method for migratable fluorescent whitening agents in this standard is applicable to all types of paper and paperboard; the quantitative analysis method using ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometry is suitable for determining the migratable fluorescent whitening agents (calculated as VBL) in paper and paperboard, and the high-performance liquid chromatography method is applicable for determining the content of seven fluorescent whitening agents in paper and paperboard (see Appendix A). Other fluorescent whitening agents can be detected by reference. The migratable fluorescent whitening agents in pulp can be detected by reference to the qualitative and quantitative methods in this standard.
