This part of GB/T 33925 defines the terms, characters, and units related to rotary power pumps and volumetric pumps, as well as their devices, when the transmission medium is a liquid. This part is applicable to the understanding and communication among device designers, manufacturers, operators, and project construction parties. This part primarily defines the terms, characters, and units related to pump systems. Note: For convenience of use, the terms and definitions that are duplicated with ISO 177691 are also defined in this part. This part does not cover the terms, characters, and units of components used in rotary power pumps, volumetric pumps, and their devices. For symbols and definitions consistent with ISO 800001, further explanations may be provided in appropriate places in this part. To maintain consistency, this part also provides some explanations of differences.
