Abstract
This document specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) beverage bottles. This document applies to beverage bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate resin as the main raw material and produced by injection molding, stretching, and blow molding processes. This document does not address safety requirements related to materials in contact with food.
