This document stipulates the rules for preparing the content index of dissertations, including the function, composition, indexing, sorting, and cumulative compilation of the content index of dissertations, as well as computer-based preparation and electronic indexing, and quality control. This document is applicable to authors preparing indexes for their dissertations, as well as to qualified indexers and document processing service agencies preparing indexes for published dissertations.
