GB/T 21805-2008

This standard specifies the general method of the algae growth inhibition test for chemicals, test preparation, test procedures, quality assurance and quality control, data and reporting. This standard is applicable to water-soluble chemicals tested under laboratory conditions. If it is necessary to test volatile, strongly adsorptive, colored, insoluble or poorly soluble chemicals, as well as chemicals that may affect the effective utilization of nutrients in the culture medium, the aforementioned test procedures need to be modified (e.g., using a closed system and appropriate test containers).
