This standard defines the terms and definitions of wool textile semi-finished products, yarns, fabrics, finished products, and inspections. The standard mainly includes the following terms: -- Semi-finished products: Wool fibers and woolen rovings processed from raw wool for use in the spinning process. -- Yarns: Yarns spun from wool by wool spinning equipment, including woolen yarns. -- Fabrics: Fabrics woven from wool yarns, including woven fabrics and knitted fabrics. -- Finished products: Final products made primarily from wool yarns through weaving processes, with no or only simple sewing processes, including wool knitwear, blankets, felts, etc. -- Inspections: Terms related to defects and performance tests specific to wool textile products. This standard does not include terms for raw wool before entering textile factories, nor does it include terms for products such as garments and home textiles made from woven wool fabrics through sewing processes. The standard applies to all types of wool textile products.
