Abstract
This part of GB/T 21931 specifies the determination of sulfur content in nickel, nickel-iron, and nickel alloys by the combustion infrared absorption method in a high-frequency induction furnace. This part is applicable to the determination of sulfur content in nickel and nickel-iron of 0.001% to 0.3% (by mass) and in nickel alloys of 0.001% to 0.1% (by mass). Examples of component compositions are provided in Appendix A.
