GB/T 11354-2025 Determination of nitriding hardness depth and metallographic examination for steel
Abstract
This document specifies the determination method of the depth of nitriding and nitrogen-carbon co-nitriding layers on steel parts, as well as the inspection method of the metallographic structure before and after nitriding.
This document is applicable to the determination of the depth of nitriding hardening layers and the thickness of compound layers on steel parts after gas nitriding, ionic nitriding, and nitrogen-carbon co-nitriding treatments, as well as the inspection and evaluation of the brittleness, looseness, vein-like nitrides in the nitriding layer, and the metallographic structure before nitriding.
