Abstract
This standard specifies the methods for determining the content of 1,2-propanediol in food by gas chromatography and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
The first method of this standard is suitable for determining the content of 1,2-propanediol in pastries, puffed foods, butter, cheese, soy products, milk tablets, raw and cooked noodle products, frozen drinks, liquid milk, plant protein drinks, milk powder, butter, and cream; the second method is suitable for determining the content of 1,2-propanediol in pastries, puffed foods, cheese, soy products, and milk tablets.
