Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage requirements for nylon 6 elastic filament. This standard applies to elastic filament processed from polyamide as raw material, with a linear density range of 7 dtex to 450 dtex, a single filament linear density of 0.4 dtex to 5.0 dtex, and a circular cross-sectional shape of nylon 6 elastic filament with glossy, semi-matt, and fully matte finishes.
