Abstract
This standard specifies the requirements and test methods for process challenge devices and indicator systems used in steam penetration tests for steam sterilizers with a vacuum phase (pre-vacuum). The steam penetration tests referred to in this standard are based on the provisions of GB 8599-2008 and YY 0646-2008.
This standard applies to process challenge devices and indicator systems, including porous load process challenge devices and indicator systems, and cavity load process challenge devices and indicator systems.
