GB/Z 25320.4-2010 Power systems management and associated information exchange—Data and communications security—Part 4:Profiles including MMS
Abstract
In order to provide security protection for applications based on the Manufacturing Message Specification (MMS) standard specified in GB/T 16720 (ISO 9506), this part of GB/Z 25320 specifies processes, protocol extensions, and algorithms. Other IEC TC 57 standards that require the use of MMS in a secure manner may refer to this part as a normative reference document. This part describes some mandatory and optional security specifications that should be implemented when using the MMS standard specified in GB/T 16720 (ISO/IEC 9506). Note: Within the scope of IEC TC 57, two standards, DL/T 860.81—2006 (IEC 61850-8-1) and GB/T 18700 (IEC 60870-6), are affected. To protect the information transmitted using MMS, this part includes a set of specifications used by these referenced standards. The recommendations are based on the specific communication protocol sets used to transmit MMS information. DL/T 860.81—2006 (IEC 61850-8-1) and GB/T 18700 (IEC 60870-6) use MMS in the connection-oriented mechanism at Layer 7. Each of these standards is implemented on the OSI protocol set or the TCP protocol set.
