GB 10395.17-2010 Agricultural and forestry machinery—Safety—Part 17:Beet harvesters
Abstract
This part of GB 10395 specifies the safety requirements and assessment methods for the design and manufacture of tractor-drawn, suspension-mounted, and self-propelled sugar beet harvesters (hereinafter referred to as "harvesters"), and also stipulates the types of safety operation information that manufacturers should provide.
This part applies to sugar beet harvesters that can perform one or more operations such as stem and leaf removal, root head removal, excavation, picking up, cleaning, conveying, and unloading.
This part does not apply to cleaning and loading devices for piled sugar beets.
This part does not consider environmental factors.
