GB/T 8174-2008 Method of measuring and evaluation thermal insulation effects for equipments and pipes
Abstract
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test methods, test requirements, test organization and preparation, data processing, test uncertainty, evaluation of insulation effect, engineering quality analysis, and content of test reports for the surface temperature testing and evaluation of insulation structures of equipment and pipelines. This standard is applicable to the insulation effect testing and evaluation of equipment, pipelines, and their accessories in general industrial sectors. It is not applicable to insulation effect testing and evaluation in buildings, cold storage facilities, national defense or scientific research, or certain insulation effect tests and evaluations with special requirements.
