Abstract
This standard specifies the basic terms commonly used in analytical instruments, as well as the terms and definitions of electrochemical analytical instruments, optical analytical instruments, thermal analytical instruments, mass spectrometers, spectrometers, chromatographs, energy spectrometers and X-ray analyzers, physical property analyzers, other analytical instruments, and their auxiliary devices.
This standard applies to analytical instruments.
In this standard, the words in square brackets [ ] can be omitted without causing confusion; the words in round brackets ( ) are synonyms of the former, except where specified otherwise.
