GB/T 18380.33-2008 Tests on electric and optical fibre cables under fire conditions—Part 33:Test for vertical flame spread of vertically-mounted bunched wires or cables—Category A
Abstract
This part of GB/T 18380 is applicable to Category A. The cable is installed on a test steel ladder to ensure that the non-metallic materials contained in the overall volume of the sample are 7 L/m. The fire supply time is 40 minutes. The cable is installed in front of the steel ladder. For cables with a conductor cross-section greater than 35 mm2, standard steel ladders or wide steel ladders are used according to the number of cable sample sections. For cables with a conductor cross-section of 35 mm2 or less, standard steel ladders are used. Category A is used to evaluate the high content of non-metallic materials in the sample.
